At Chunns Cove Assisted Living, we believe that exceptional nutrition is an essential part of maintaining health, wellness, and quality of life. Our residents enjoy delicious, well-balanced meals prepared daily from menus that are reviewed and approved by a Registered Dietitian to ensure they meet nutritional guidelines while offering a variety of flavorful options.

We proudly provide three nutritious meals and three snacks each day, giving residents consistent access to wholesome foods and refreshments throughout the day. Our dedicated dietary team works closely with residents to accommodate individual dietary needs, preferences, and physician-ordered diets.

To ensure every resident can dine safely and comfortably, we offer a variety of food preparation options, including chopped, mechanical soft, and pureed diets. We also provide specialized dining assistance through the use of adaptive plates, utensils, and dining equipment designed to support residents with physical limitations, reduced dexterity, or other challenges that may affect independent dining.

At Chunns Cove, mealtime is more than just nourishment—it is an opportunity for comfort, enjoyment, socialization, and maintaining independence. Our goal is to create a dining experience that is both satisfying and tailored to the unique needs of each resident.

Housekeeping and laundry services

At Chunns Cove Assisted Living, we understand that a clean, comfortable living environment plays an important role in our residents' overall health, safety, and quality of life. Our dedicated housekeeping team provides routine cleaning services to help maintain a welcoming and sanitary atmosphere throughout the community. Resident rooms are cleaned regularly, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitation, trash removal, and other general housekeeping tasks, allowing residents to enjoy a comfortable home without the burden of household chores.

We also offer convenient personal laundry services for our residents. Clothing, linens, and towels are laundered on a regular schedule and returned clean and neatly organized. Our staff takes great care in handling residents' personal belongings and works diligently to ensure that laundry needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Through our housekeeping and laundry services, residents can spend less time worrying about daily chores and more time enjoying the activities, friendships, and comforts of life at Chunns Cove.

Life Enrichment Program

At Chunns Cove Assisted Living, we believe that an active and engaged lifestyle is essential to overall health and well-being. Our comprehensive Life Enrichment Program is designed to promote social interaction, independence, purpose, and enjoyment through a variety of meaningful experiences. Residents have access to more than 20 hours of planned activities each week, providing opportunities to remain physically active, mentally stimulated, socially connected, and spiritually fulfilled.

Our program is led by a dedicated Activities Director and Activities Assistant, who work closely with residents to develop a diverse monthly calendar tailored to their interests, abilities, and preferences. Activities are designed to support multiple dimensions of wellness, including physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Examples include exercise classes, games, crafts, music programs, educational opportunities, holiday celebrations, community outings, devotional services, and special events.

Recognizing that every resident has unique needs and interests, we also provide individualized one-on-one activities for those who may benefit from personalized engagement or are unable to participate in group programs. Whether enjoying a favorite hobby, participating in a fitness activity, attending a worship service, or simply sharing meaningful conversation, our goal is to enrich each resident's daily life and foster a sense of purpose, connection, and belonging within our community.
